I created HighOctaneToronto because I wanted to protect what made car culture special in the first place.
The scene has changed. Social media has made car culture bigger than ever, but it can also feel oversaturated and focused on clout, numbers, and attention. HighOctaneToronto was created for the true enthusiasts the people who genuinely love the cars, the builds, the late nights, and the community behind them.
I wanted to create a place where people could connect, hang out, and feel young again bringing back some of that early-2000s car-show energy, when the scene felt raw, exciting, and centered around a shared passion for cars.
At the same time, I don’t want to simply recreate the past. My vision is to push Toronto’s car culture forward by introducing experiences and ideas that haven’t traditionally been seen at local car events combining curated builds with underground music, immersive staging, live entertainment, nightlife, and unexpected experiences.
From invite-only meets to HighOctane Fest, the goal has always been the same: preserve the culture, bring genuine enthusiasts together, and create experiences people will remember long after the cars leave.
